Pools and big boy beds!!

The very last day of March we had a VERY hot and nice day. So we decided to get outside and start enjoying the pool!! Carter of course loves it and we can't get him out of it. The water is still too cold to get all the way in and go swimming, but the swim deck is perfect to play around in for a little bit. We are definitely enjoying the weather...high 70's and low 80's at the end of March and beginning of April aint too bad!!

Carter didn't get a nap one day and when I came in from outside I found him like this. He slept like that for about 45 minutes!!
The first day of April we took Carter out of the crib and put him in his new big boy bed. I was nervous that it would take him a while to adjust, but he has done perfect!! I was so happy it worked out well. Mommy needs her sleep before this baby comes!! His room isn't quite done yet. We are doing a sports theme of course, but we haven't gotten all the stuff up yet. More pictures to come!!
In his room before we took the crib out

The last night of sleep in his crib.

Some jumping had to occur of course

And here he is the first night in his big boy bed.. I'm using the bumper from the crib to pad the walls until he gets used to his bed a little more. This child is a CRAZY sleeper, and I knew if I didn't put that bumper up he would end up smacking his head several times a night. I will eventually take it out though.

He looks so tiny in that bed!! I can't believe he is old enough to be in a big boy bed!! Time is going way too fast!!! I love my little boy so much!!

More visitors!!!

A couple of days after my mom left in March, we had more visitors!!! Nathan's dad and Kathryn and his sister Kayla and her daughter Kenzie came to visit! We had a lot of fun playing and hanging out. Carter was in heaven and got a lot of attention! We always love it when family comes and we hope they come back soon!!

We took Carter bowling for the first time. He had a lot of fun!

Love my boys!

Help from Papa

Waiting for his ball...

And so excited when it came!!

And of course we had to run down the lane a couple of times

Trying to climb...It didn't work out too well

His first official bowling score. He got a 70 and only lost to Papa by one!

Celebration after his first strike!!

Cool dude

And his second score... a 120!!! He was the winner in this game!! Two strikes and two spares!! Not bad for a first timer!!

We also had to go to Lake Mead and feed the nasty fish. These silly ducks kept getting in the way, so there weren't as many fish, but they were still nasty!!

Kathryn trying to feed them by hand

Kayla and Kenzie

We also went to the Hoover Dam and walked across the new bridge

Cousins sharing the stroller. Kenzie didn't mind at first, but wanted out after a while.

Thanks again for coming to visit!! We had so much fun and can't wait til you can come back!!!
