And we are home!!!

We were beyond excited to get home for Christmas!! I love having Christmas with our families and getting to see all our friends as well! We really miss Spokane and being able to see everyone all the time! We always seem to have a little bad luck when we fly, and this time it was no different. We left Carter's carry-on bag with all his clothes on our first flight. Luckily we were able to get it back, it just took a week or so... We got some clothes from Taraka for Carter which was so nice because poor Carter would have been wearing the same clothes for a while! And I would have had to do a lot of laundry.

My dad took the boys in his room for a little TV and relaxation the first day we went to see them... I think they like it! Carter had a permanent smile on his face the whole time we were home! I don't know any 4 year old who loves seeing his family as much as he does:)

We met my good friend Jeni and her kids at Jump N' Bounce and I and to get a picture of miss Mia! She is so cute and she really likes me :)

I couldn't get a good picture of the boys, but here is Hunter, Carter and Jackson...

Carter enjoyed some legos with Tucker and Taylor at Papa's... We were so excited to see these two!!

And here is our first Christmas miracle... Chase let Neil hold him!!!! Anyone that knows out little Chase knows that he never lets anyone but mom and dad, and sometimes Grandma and Grandpa hold him. He was so fun this trip and was a lot more pleasant to be around! Even his cousins told me "Chase seems a lot happier this trip!!":) And thank goodness for that!!

One of the tricks is to rub his belly :)

We went to Max's basketball game... He has grown up so much! He did really well and really  understand sports...

Some cookie decorating had to be done...

I don't think there is a cuter little munchkin than this little guy! Jackson was loving the garland while we decorated Papa's tree:) He is so happy and so stinkin cute!

Decorating the tree...

And we had to watch some Christmas movies :)

Love this little man! Carter used to make this exact face! They get it from their daddy :)

We got to see Aunt Kathy and uncle Scoot too!!! We haven't seen them for a while so we were super excited that they got to come up! They are so awesome and we love and miss them a lot!

Gearing up for Christmas....

The first couple of weeks of December were spent gearing up for Christmas!! I think this time of year is magical and I love everything about it! It is so fun now to see Carter getting excited and getting to experience the magic I remember as a child!!

We had our ward party and the primary kids sang... Carter was so cute!!!

And no ward dinner would be complete without a visit from Santa!!

Chase just snuggled right in it was so cute!

We got to babysit out little Quinn...

I was like uh should they be playing doctor already :) But then I realized Carter is paying way more attention to the TV... I guess this is what you get when both moms are nurses and both dads are in medical school :)

Carter got dressed in his Green Lantern costume and Chase wanted to participate of course!!

Lots of gingerbread houses were made and eaten...

We went to Bass Pro Shop to get out traditional picture with Santa and make our ornament...

We also had a "progressive Christmas activity" with some friends. The plan was to move from house to house and do a different activity at each house. One of the kids got sick, so we only had two stops, but it was a lot of fun and the kids LOVED it!!

We made gingerbread houses at our house and drank hot chocolate...

Chase loves Mike and he is one of the only people that Chase will let hold him!

Then we moved to the Bunnells house and had pizza and watched a Christmas movie... It was a lot of fun!!

Chase was asleep when we made the gingerbread houses so I helped him make his when we got home...

He ate candy while I made the house :)

The finished products!!

And of course the best part is eating them!

We made Christmas cookies for our friends and Carter and Ted helped me decorate them...

Here are the bags Carter made for his teachers presents at preschool...

He did all the writing by himself and I was so proud of him!

More cookie decorating...

...and eating!!

Carter had Ted again from preschool...

Here he is opening his present from his teachers... He was so excited to get a new book!

I was taking pictures of Carter and Chase felt left out... How could I ever forget this cute boy!!!!!
Nathan finished his tests and we had a couple of days before we headed to Spokane, so we went to a new indoor play place...

On the day we headed to Spokane, our good friends the Olsen's packed up there trailer and moved back to Canada. We were soooo sad to see them go and Carter will miss Hadley and Brooklyn so much! Here is Chase and Raegan playing while we watched their kids while they finished packing...

And one last picture of the three amigos! We left that same day for Spokane and we couldn't be more excited!!! We were so happy to go home and see friends and family!!

Here is our little family Christmas card!! Next up SPOKANE!!!!!!
Merry Christmas!!
