Easter festivities...

We had a lot of fun this Easter and got lots of candy and presents. We made sure to help Carter understand the real meaning of Easter, and he got it :) So thankful for this time to remember this!
The boys went out to play one day and I told them they had to wear hats... Chases insisted on wearing it backwards! At least he kept it on I guess :) And he is so cute!
The boys got a fun package in the mail from aunt Lisa...

These are the cookies she sent... That's one talented girl!! They were too pretty to eat!
She also made these little egg nest cakes... And they were yummy!!
We went to the Zona Rosa and checked out the exotic animal petting zoo...

The boys got to see the Easter bunny... Chase was not impressed...

Carter grew some grass at school and got to bring it home...

We got a monster egg making kit. They turned out really cute but the were a pain to do:) The glue took a LONG time to dry... hence why only three eggs are fully decorated :)

We had a lot of fun though! And off to bed it was so the Eater bunny could come!

Soccer, Worlds of Fun and Easter parties!

On April 12th Carter played his very first soccer game. He was in soccer last year, but they didn't do games yet. He did really well and is getting the hang of it. It's so funny to see all the kids just running around crazy while parents are screaming from the sidelines. Welcome to being a soccer mom eh! I loved it and he had so much fun! Nathan got to come and it was fun watching him watch Carter. Carter is pretty little out there and gets a little intimidated with the older kids, but he did great and had fun which is what counts!!

After the soccer game we went to the zoo for a few hours. Quinn really wanted a picture with Carter :)

And as if that wasn't enough to fill the day, Worlds of Fun opened and Carter was dying to go! So I took him while Nathan and Chase hung out at home.

He was so excited to be back!!

Every time these two are fighting I remind myself that they do love each other some times :)

Carter had an Easter party at school. He didn't want to sit on the Easter bunny's lap, but Chase sure did! Maybe Carter thought he looked a little too much like Davido's dad :)

Successful egg hunt...

Bunny sack races...

It was a great party and Carter will be so sad when school is over in a few weeks!!

Boys will be boys...

When I got back from Maui it was right back into the swing of things. These boys keep me hopping, but I love them to pieces so it's just fine!

We went to the bounce house place and played on day... It was kind of cold that week and these boys needed to get some energy out!!

Arrrrr....

And we went to the library... One of Carter's favorite places. Chase had fun pretending he knew what he was doing on the computer :)

We bundled up and headed outside too. Carter picked this outfit one day. Pretty stylish eh!

Carter also had his first soccer practice for the year. He did good and he loves it!!

I decided to go look at some garage sales for some outdoor toys for the boys...  I drove around the neighborhoods and they sat in the back and watched a movie. It worked out perfect. I found this little trampoline and had to get it... Now they can stop jumping on my couch!!

And we found a car for Chase. We also found a basketball hoop . They love to jump on the trampoline and shoot at the hoop. Hours of entertainment :)

Carter read some books to Chase...

Chase got his rain boots on and was ready to go outside...

Simba made an appearance...

Carter became a missionary...

And he wrote another letter. This time to Nathan... He said "Daddy, I love you so much, What did you learn at school today? Carter" Nathan and Carter have this funny thing about that question. Every day at lunch Nathan calls and asks Carter what he did at school that day if he had preschool. Carter always rolls his eyes and says "why do you always ask me that!" So I thought it was funny when Carter wanted to write that to Nathan...

And some play dough was played with. All in all we kept busy and had fun!!!
