And it begins!!!!

With Nathan's love of soccer, I knew that it was inevitable that I would become a soccer mom... and I'm totally ok with that. I hope our boys enjoy it as much as Nathan does and that it turns into something they can do together. I wasn't looking to put Carter in soccer until next year, but he needed something to do during the week to get some energy out and interact with some other kids. While I was looking at different things, our friends told me about this soccer program and I jumped right on it. It's just once a week and it's only for 3 year olds. They don't have any games, just teach basic soccer skills and learn how to listen to the coaches. It's great and Carter loves it.

They warm up by chasing their coaches and Carter is always at the front of the pack!

Toe touches...

Carter and his best friend Davido

After their first practice, we went out to Red Robin. On Wednesday nights they have balloon people there that can literally do whatever you ask for. Carter asked for Scooby Doo and that's what he got!! He is having so much fun at soccer and definitely getting that energy out!!

Easter!!

After Maui we got to stay for a couple of days in Spokane. The day we got back Marty, Lexi and Hunter had an Easter dinner and an Easter egg hunt all ready for us!! Carter had a blast looking for eggs... Chase was asleep.

Ready to get this thing started!!!

It was quite the hunt and some of the eggs even had money in them!!

We also got to go see this fun guy at Papa's house. Carter LOVES his cousins!! Poor little Taylor wasn't feeling well so she wasn't there, but we got to see her the next day!!

Carter also enjoyed some tractor and scooter rides!!!

When we got back, we took the boys to one of the outdoor malls to see the Easter bunny and go to the petting zoo. Carter ran right up to him and gave him a huge hug... He was so happy to see him!!

A little kangaroo... they had some crazy animals at this thing!

That night we dyed Easter eggs..

The loot.... A combination of stuff from us and the grandparents...
Easter morning the boys were in heaven!!
Carter face is a little blurry in this picture but I love his expression!!!
Strawberry shortcake for breakfast!!

Pictures before church... They look like they are making the same face in this picture to me... I thought it was funny...

We had a great Easter!! We are grateful for the real meaning behind Easter and for all Jesus did for us!!
