Happy birthday Chase!!

Chase turned 2 on April 25th. I can't believe it. These last two years have seemed to fly by! He certainly has his own little personality and seems to have inherited some of his mom and his dad's stubbornness! He talks and talks and loves to play with Carter! He definitely keeps me on my toes getting in to everything and climbing on everything! But he is so stinkin cute that I find myself forgetting all of that :) He is a sweet boy and really loves his mama, his dad and his big brother. We are so blessed to have this little man in our family! We love him so much!

We have a tradition of singing happy birthday to the boys right when they wake up. Thankfully Nathan was able to go to school a little late so we could sing to Chase.. 

We got him dressed and brought him downstairs and he was soooo happy that his daddy was there:)

He just laid on Nathan for a while... He didn't want him to got to school :(

That night we took him to Red Robin to celebrate. 

 He LOVES him some chocolate milk :)

They came and brought him a balloon and ice cream and sang him happy birthday... He just stared at them the whole time... It was funny...

He got to open his presents from us and Grandma's and Grandpa's when we got home...

Grandma and Grandpa Woolf got him a sweet trike and Grandma Kelly always sends the singing cards that he loves! We have listened to that card a lot!

Then we sang happy birthday and he got to have a little cupcake...

Easter!

Easter was fun around our house! It's so fun to see how excited the boys get when they see their baskets :)

Every time I asked Carter what he wanted for Easter he would say a carmel filled chocolate bunny... So he got one!!

The Easter bunny also brought a new member of the family. Carter has been asking for a long time for a pet... This kind of pet I can handle :) 

We knew Carter was going to be beyond excited when he realized what he got... 

And he was!

He was so so happy! We asked him what he wanted to name it and told him he is a little reddish/grey fish. So he said well let's call him Big Red. So that's the name of our little fish!

Chase was excited to see the fish too. And kept trying to touch it :) He kept looking in the bowl and saying hi fishy!!

I tried several times to get an Easter picture, but Chase did not want to cooperate. So this is what we got! I was sad we didn't get a family one, but it was impossible. 

We had some friends over for dinner and this is the centerpiece I made...

And no Easter would be complete without an egg hunt!

They also got to open their presents from Grandma Kelly!. They were so happy! Thanks Grandma!!!

Chase LOVES Wreck it Ralph... It's the only movie he will watch. Grandma sent a Wreck it Ralph book and this man was pretty happy!
