The day before Carter's birthday, we had some pretty nice weather around here. So Chase decided to take advantage of it and mow the lawn...

Carter turned 4 in October. I CAN NOT believe he is that old. I love this age and he is such a sweet, fun boy!! We left to Spokane on his actual birthday, so I decided we should take him out to dinner with friends before we headed out. The Tew's and the Bunnell's came with us and Carter was sooo happy!! Especially when they sang to him!

| We started a tradition when Carter turned one of singing happy birthday right when he wakes up. We wait for him downstairs and when we see his little head we sing. He always smiles and gets all shy, it's so cute! Since we were leaving on the airplane, we sang him happy birthday again and let him blow out a candle on a cupcake. That way daddy could do it too. Nathan had a test week the week we were gone, so he didn't come with us. Darn medical school!!! |
