Spokane party part 2....

The party week continued with some pumpkin drawing and a costume/birthday party for Carter. My sister's birthday is October 21st and her and Carter are best buds, so she planned a big party to celebrate their birthdays and have an excuse to dress up for Halloween. And getting my family to agree was a huge success. Thanks Aunt Lisa!!!!

My dad got pumpkins for all the kids to draw a face on instead of carving a bunch of pumpkins with them....

The kids had a great time!

Chase is pretty good at drawing eh :)

The finished products...

Carter helping Lisa make his Batman cake...

Some of the decor for the party. Lisa made most of it...

We got to hang out a lot with Ava since she is staying with her parents at Grandma and Grandpa's house right now...

The costumes!!! Carter wore his cool new Green Lantern costume and my sister got me this Cruella Divile costume. Tisha had a dalmatian costume that I had to get for Chase so he could be my little side kick!

Annie was one cute cowgirl!!

Grandpa had quite the Batman costume. Payton and Ellie were super girls and Hunter got to be Luigi...

The master of the party was the mad hatter...

Max was Harry Potter of course...

The whole gang...

And this was my favorite... Gru and his minion!!!!

A couple of bank robbers...

The cake Lisa made. Talk about AMAZING!!!! Carter loved it! Carter loves him some Lisa and we are so lucky she is the best aunt and sister anyone could ask for!!! Thanks Brew!!!!

The table scape...

And a rock star Grandma!!!

After we ate we played some games... This is the gross out game. The kids came in one at a time and got blind folded. Then we made them stick their hands in peeled grapes for eyeballs and cooked cabbage for skin and such. It was funny to see their reactions.

They made some decorations...

And played pin the tail on the cat... They even got gift bags to take home.

To cap off one amazing party we sang happy birthday to Carter. He could not stop smiling!! He was so happy it made me one happy mama!! He is so sweet and fun and I am so blessed to be his mom!!!

Happy birthday Carter! Thank you everyone for making it a birthday he won't forget!!

Spokane party part 1...

Carter had quite the week when we went home. He pretty much had a week long birthday! He got to play with cousins, grandparents and he did NOT want to come home. It is always sooo nice to go home and I never want to leave either! I always get nervous flying with the boys by myself, but they both did good and we were so happy to be in Spokane!!

Playing monster at the bottom of the stairs... My brother Neil moved back to Spokane and it was fun and weird to have them there when we got there!!

The double trouble boys are back!!!

Grandma Kelly came in to town so Carter got spoiled with his first birthday party of the week! We were so glad she came and so glad that Ben, Taraka, Tucker, Taylor and baby Jackson live there!!!

He loves him some super hero stuff!!!

Before we left for Spokane, Carter informed me that he wanted a Scooby Doo party with Tucker and Taylor and a super hero party with Hunter, Max, Payton and Ellie. Think he is spoiled much or what?!! So Grandma Kelly and Taraka put together an awesome Scooby Doo party!!!

Complete with brownies...

And make your own mini murph pizzas:) Thanks for the party!!!

Chase was his normal I only want my mom and I'm going to be grumpy a lot while we are here. Grandma Sharon figured out all it took to win his heart is a nice hair brushing....

And a belly rub! It was cute...

We went and checked out the Mobius Children's Museum Grandma Kelly, Taraka, Tucker, Taylor and Jackson. It is a really cool place for the kids...

Some digging with Taraka and Tucker...

Getting muddy with Taylor!

I see a future drummer in our midst :)

Chase LOVED this ball sucking machine of sorts. It would suck up the balls and blow air in his face and he stood here for like 30 minutes and played with it...

Carter found the Dr room...

And they both loved the snakes..

We headed to Olive Garden after and everyone fought over Grandma :)

What lucky boys!!

Thanks Grandma Kelly!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!

Every time we go home, my dad has a tradition of taking Carter to the White Elephant store to look at toys, and of course bring one home!! Carter looks forward to this and always asks when he gets to go! This time Chase got to go, as long as mommy came too:)

We took the kids to the park one day... they had a lot of fun!!

Chase sat on this rocking bench with my dad for a LONG time! It was ok with me cause I didn't have to chase him!

The boys and Grandpa!!!

This little boy loves his Grandpa!!!!

Up next yet another party!!!

And the party begins...

The day before Carter's birthday, we had some pretty nice weather around here. So Chase decided to take advantage of it and mow the lawn...

And he decided to mow the path too... He was just so happy to be outside!!

Carter showing me how fast he is!!

Carter turned 4 in October. I CAN NOT believe he is that old. I love this age and he is such a sweet, fun boy!! We left to Spokane on his actual birthday, so I decided we should take him out to dinner with friends before we headed out. The Tew's and the Bunnell's came with us and Carter was sooo happy!! Especially when they sang to him!

Best buds!!!

We started a tradition when Carter turned one of singing happy birthday right when he wakes up. We wait for him downstairs and when we see his little head we sing. He always smiles and gets all shy, it's so cute! Since we were leaving on the airplane, we sang him happy birthday again and let him blow out a candle on a cupcake. That way daddy could do it too. Nathan had a test week the week we were gone, so he didn't come with us. Darn medical school!!!

Needless to say this boy was pretty happy!!

Happy birthday Carter!! We love you so much!!!!!
