October was also the month that Chase turned 18 months. After getting a few camera tips from Taraka, we ventured out on our own and took some pictures of him. They turned out awesome!!! I was soooo happy with them! The weather and surroundings were perfect and we even got him to smile:) Here is what Chase is up to at 18 months...
He loves chicken nuggets, fruit snacks, apples, pizza, spaghetti, bananas, pretzels, squeeze food pouches and pancakes. He hates bread, plain pasta, oatmeal, and pears. He is starting to want to feed himself and is quite messy :)
He is starting to talk... a lot! Every day he says something new! It's really nice because he can tell me what he wants instead of crying for it!!
He says mama, dada, night night, no no, water, Carter, apple, roar, lion, shoes, blankies, toes, toothbrush and toothpaste... and he says eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and hair while he points to them. He has a lot more in his vocab but that's what I can think of right now...
He loves to pester Carter and always wants to be doing what he is doing.
He likes to look at books and dance to music, but he will not watch TV... which is ok but sometimes I just wish he would relax for a bit and watch a show!!
He favorite songs are Carrie Underwood and U2 songs of course :)
He likes to play with cars, balls, animals, blocks, and Carter's superhero stuff.
He has gone to the bathroom twice on the toilet, but doesn't want to anymore.
He likes to ride in the cart and look around Target with his mom.
Carter takes care of him, and even though he bugs him a lot, they are really starting to play well together!
When we take Carter to preschool, Chase always gets sad.
He is a climber!!!! He gets up on everything and gets in to everything constantly. I call him my little tornado because I feel like I am constantly following him around cleaning up after him and pulling him down off stuff.
We love our little Chase man and he makes us smile and laugh every day! He brings excitement and fun to the house and I love love love watching him and Carter grow closer. We are so blessed that he is part of our family! We love you Chaser!!!!!
